Scoil Iósaif Naofa is an all-boys school on the Maree Road in Oranmore, Co. Galway, Ireland. The number of pupils in the school has increased from 56 in 1980 to 240 today. The projection is for a further large increase as a consequence of the welcome influx of new families and earlier this year the Department of Education and Science sanctioned the construction of a greenfield 16-teacher school.
Catering for boys from FirstClass to Sixth Class, the school motto is Amor Vincit Omni (love conquers all) and it is central to everything we do. Children are taught the importance of confidence, self-esteem and respect, which in turn lead to a positive interaction between teachers and pupils by creating a safe and caring learning environment for all. A wide range of projects and activites ensure a positive and stimulating educational experience across the curriculum.
